The devices used in Romania for detection and measurement of the isolation defect are DDRC device – used to detect insulation defects on steel pipes. Portable cathode rectifier ANA – used to inject cathodic protection current on the steel gas networks, to detect insulation defects. These devices were created by the company ADCA in France, the maintenance, checking and sales of these equipment is carried out by Emadel Energie SRL.
